I can understand the sense of loneliness. I would feel the same person. I am such a "people" person that I struggle with being alone. I need to have people around.
Have you thought about the possibility of having a roommate like on Golden Girls? Not that I am saying you are a "golden" girl, but they had a nice set up with a group of people who became close friends by being roommates?

I think it was great that you were able to connect with someone local. You mentioned that he didn't know English. Are you able to speak a lot of Italian?
I love the picture. He has such a nice, friendly smile. I can see why he might be a good waiter if he is half as friendly as he looks!

That was such a pretty merry-go-round. What a shame that the horses were platic, though. I remember riding the wooden ones at a local amusement part when I was young. They wer nice!

I love going to these types of events! I have so much fun just walking around seeing all the gadgets and displays. Thankfully, I can't afford most of it or I would go broke!

I have always believed that the coming out process is something that only each individual can sort out the timeline for. While I do think it is better, in the long run, to be honest with ourselves and those around us, the points you have highlighted as meking it difficult are things we are all concerned with as we make our own choices.

It sounds like you made the choice you had to. It was not an easy thing to do because I know it must have hurt a great deal. Just know that we are thinking about you and sending our love.

Maybe it will be helpful to talk to Martin's friends. They have been where you are.

I do think that interest varies, depending on what we post, but we seem to have a tight-knit community here that really supports the various members in it, no matter what we post.

I know that I am always interested in hearing about your travels. You and Mike are dear friends, and I feel special that you are willing to share you fun with us.

Our paper was surprisingly kind to Hangover 2. They basically said that if you liked the first film, you will like the sequel even more because it is similar, but stronger. I thought that interesting because the Journal hates anything "common."
I have heard mixed reviews on PotC 4. Some people really love it and others really hate it.

We have been hit with warmer weather down here, too. It is nice to have the sun since we had been cloudy/rainy for about 2 weeks prior to it coming through, but it has been a tough adjustment since the rise in temps came so quickly.
