Too Cool!

I just made the coolest thing with Visual Basic. Since most of the patterns I knit are from online, I made a row counter that sits right on my desktop!! This way I don't have to worry about my kids losing mine (and yes, they have in the past).

I guess I finally found a use for the years of school, since appearently they don't matter when looking for a job!!
I got the center section done for the shawl, time to give the lace portion a try. And yes, that's why I needed the row counter!!
BTW, the background is my little girl, Abby, from when she was about 7 months old.

Very nice! I don't need kids to loose mine. I can and frequently do that all by myself.
I think Lion Brand has a counter on their website but you need to be logged in to use it.
Abby's adorable. How old is she now?

BTW did you notice the row minus button for "tinking" lol I do that enough that it was necessary lol

She is a VERY feisty 2 1/2! The Lion website is where I got the idea. Like you said, you have to be logged in, and I get my patterns from all over. Unfortunately, I have to share the laptop with my BF, so I have another blanket that I work on when he is on it.

What a cutie, and nice row counter. Did the program define the color of the border around that window or was there some default that kicked in there?

The color around the window is my Windows default. I have Windows 7, so am able to customize. The other colors were defined by my program.
