I Need a New Job!

I have so many reasons to hate my weekend hours, and many of them start right here at home. I usually spend most of Friday picking up after kids, vacuuming, and so on. Then, after working 16 hour shifts on both Saturday and Sunday, I wake up Monday morning and have to start all over again!! Is it really too much to ask to have the house as clean Monday morning as it was when I left for work Saturday morning? I understand that with 2 toddlers it is hard to get anything done during the day, but I manage to do it!!
I did have a fairly good work weekend. There was a little circus here town on Saturday, and I was able to take 2 of the girls I take care of to go see it. I thought it was rinky dink and cheesy, but they had fun, so that's all that matters. Wish I could post the pictures I take, but am unable to due to confidentiality and all that.
Unfortunately, Sunday then came. The 21 yr old girl that I work with is SSSOOOOOOO frickin' lazy! Been working with her on my weekends for over a year, and no matter how much I complain about her not doing ANYTHING AT ALL, nothing gets done about it. Yesterday I was trimming and painting nails while once again, she sat on her behind watching TV. Another of the girls came out and told my co-worker(and I use that term loosely) that the toilet had plugged up and overflowed. My co-worker (that doesn't) went back, looked at it, and proceeded to come out and tell me that she couldn't clean it up because she was wearing flip-flops(which we aren't supposed to wear). So I had to go back and clean it up while she sat back down on her a** and finished watching her show. This is only one example of crap that I have to put up with every time we work together.
AND THEY WONDER WHY I'M LOOKING FOR ANOTHER JOB!!!!!

I'm afraid I would have been very rude and told her to get off her a** and go clean it up; it's not my problem that you were stupid and wore flip-flops which by the way are prohibited during work hours and I would have left it stopped up when it came time to go home. Next option would be to call a plumber and let the owners pay the bill.

Unfortunately with the girls I take care of, this isn't an option, they would have continued to try to use the bathroom and ended up either making a bigger mess or slipping in the water.

And they wonder why workplace violence is on the rise...

"Here, chicky, borrow my shoes while I continue to work" would have been my quick reply...or not. Sorry about your troubles.
