Three more inches to go and I am done with all the baby blankets. And no, I couldn't just wait to finish it before posting. I took a break from the last one to knit an afghan for a silent auction for a friend's benefit. I love it, and am almost (stress almost) wanting to bid on it myself so I can keep it. It was my first effort at designing one myself, so I kept it simple.
I am calling it "Heirloom Sampler" its just the right size for a lap blanket, perfect size for snuggling under with a good book on a snowy night.
It worked up quick by using two strands of yarn and size 10 needles. I tried it several different ways, but only had two weeks to get it done from when I found out about the benefit.
Will have some more pics of finished items later, along with detail pics of the squares for this one, I just liked it so much I had to post right away!!!
