Too Hot to Handle!

Thank god the weatherman was right for a change! He predicted that the temps were going to be lower this week and, surprise surprise, they are!!
Last week was awful. We have one small air conditioner for the whole house, and when you try to use fans to blow the air to the other rooms, it does not work!!. So instead I ended up spending most of the week sitting right in front of the air conditioner, because it was the only spot in the house that wasn't 90F+!! We already decided that at tax return time we are getting central air. I'm not doing this again next year.
One blanket down, three to go!! I got the boucle one done this last week!! Instead of making it double strand and size 13 needles, just made it single with size 10. Came out very soft, very pretty. My pattern is just the standard dishcloth pattern, with this yarn didn't want to use a fancy pattern.
Here is close-up detail of the blanket.

Here is the blanket before blocking, will be blocking later, right now I have 3 loads of laundry on my bed to fold!! (It's more fun to knit lol)

Abby thinks this one should be hers, will have to make her a bigger one with the same type of yarn when I'm done with the baby blankets that are already on my list!!

I would have dearly loved A/C this past week. Cooler temps coming soon.
What pretty colours. What yarn is that?

This is Bernat's Baby Boucle. This is the yarn that I had to redo the blanket for because it was discontinued. They have other colors, thoughI love how it came out, and this one only took a day and a half to finish!!

I predict that now we have global warming air conditioning will become much more expensive because more and more people will have to install it. Even window AC units will climb in price. It is the nature of how business works. Do it in the winter, when nobody else is doing it.
