all my troubles seemed so far away!
Just kidding.
But yesterday at the day job I got a phone call from an upset person needing a phone number. Alrighty then - I sought to help this irate man but it was going to take a minute. When I said please hold while I check with so and so, he grumbled. He then said a gruff "Hello?!?!" and I assured him I was still there and said I was checking with so and so. He grumbled again. A few moments later I heard him talking to someone else and then he hung up on me. Fabulous. A minute later the phone rings and it's once again the grumpy man. Luckily I had gotten the info in that minute. He asked why I didn't call him back. I told him I had just gotten the information he wanted. He then says "Well what is the dayum number?" So I told it to him. He said bye. I slammed down the phone. Asshat.
Pissed me off.
The second job was fun. Many pet parents made progress with their pups. A few scaredy dawgs took treats from me (PROGRESS!) and one even played hide and seek with me which was fun. We do hide and seek as part of teaching a "thinking" come recall. It was a great night to finish up a shitty arse day.
I hate the day job. This, however, is not news.
When I arrived home after my long day, I found a bright and shiny new book where my purse normally lives. YAY! R totally surprised me by buying a random dog training book for me from my Amazon wish list. I adore that man. It really made my day!
I talked with a co-worker today, he's trying to talk to the boss to tell her that he's pursuing another position with our company due to lack of being challenged. I really want to talk to her tomorrow about cutting Mondays here out of my life. I mean hell, the company has fallen on hard times, why wouldn't they look to cut expenses anywhere and everywhere? Dare to dream.
Happy Wednesday people! At least it's a short day for me... :0)
