I was talking to pals hubby yesterday. He invited me to a dog training opportunity coming up close by. I had to decline though because I work on Saturdays. Boo! But I looked at the link that was sent and saw a dog training course in May that lasts for 5 days. It looks like FUN! They assign partners a shelter dog to work with for the week. Apparently it’s a lot of people watching you trying to get your dog to do something and offering sage advice and encouragement. It sounds wonderful. They also encourage people to take the shelter dog back to the hotel room with you at night. Perfecto!!! I am really excited about this opportunity since it’s so hands on! There is also homework given nightly and presentations we have to give so it’s going to be a lot of work, but it’s going to be FUN! And I think I will learn a ton which is awesome.

In May I will no longer be working the part time job so I will have more free time. I am hoping to not be at the same day job by then as well but we shall see what transpires.

I have a creepy feeling that my boss may be reading my blog. I am sure that’s not the case cuz I would have been fired by now for sure, but yesterday she was making her own copies and fetching things off the printer that is across the room. Normally she tries to move as little as possible. Strange! I guess it’s a good thing when you are not in fear of losing your job. I would actually welcome it because I could get my health benefits at a much lower rate through COBRA. Haha Oh well. I do appreciate my job I just hate it most of the time. Does that make sense?
