So we got a killer snow storm Friday and Saturday. We have about 27" on the ground right now. I haven't been able to get my car out and the plows have not yet done their duty in our neighborhood. Luckily R's all wheel drive car does well in the snow, so we were able to get out yesterday for a bit. One of our stops was home depot to get a shovel. Of course they were all sold out, for the second time in a row. Therefore, R will be using the recycle bin once again when we get the next storm, while I use the broom to "sweep" off the cars...

This afternoon, evening and tomorrow we are supposed to get another 10 - 20". Seriously?

The Fed gov't has been closed the past two days, some schools are closed for the week, and many cars have not moved since Friday. Crazy.

In good news, we have been getting the kitchen painted, it's coming along nicely... I am hoping that by Friday we will have a new look! We're supposed to get a new fridge and stove (for staging purposes) tomorrow but I am thinking with all the snow, there is no hope for that... we shall see.

OOOO and my Kraymer! I took him to the vet yesterday because he is limping sooooo badly... she asked me how old he was and I said almost 7. She looked at me and said WOW! He's OLD! I just looked at her and then she said well I mean, with the way he is acting I thought he was one year old! I guess that's a good thing. Buuuuut she thinks he might be developing arthritis. My poor baby boy...
