I actually lived through my first training class. My nerves were certainly shot today. I had a tummy ache and a head ache and man, I was wondering why the hell I ever wanted to subject myself to this. Alas, I persevered! I am so proud of me! I did it! I faced my largest fear and worked through it! It's going to be hard for awhile still, but I survived my first class and for that I am grateful. YAY!

The parental visit was most fun, as always... I miss them already and they just left this morning. I love spending time with them, really and truly. We partied a lot and had some down time as well. Great long weekend!

After they left today I spent the majority of my day making note cards and practicing my lecture. SB was kind enough to come over to listen to it and to give me pointers...

In class, I was noticeably nervous, I wasn't listening when people were talking to me (before class) which the full time trainer noticed - and stopped feeding me any info that didn't have to do with my debut class - so it worked out well...

Ah! Sighs of relief! My first class is OVER! I stumbled a bit and checked my notes a lot but guess what? I GOT THROUGH IT! WAHOO!!! R and I are having a celebratory glass of wine which I am truly enjoying. YAY!
