About an hour ago the execs came up to my desk with three large bags in their hands. They said do you know what today is? I smiled and said it's Administrative Professionals Day. They said yes, it's not just another Wednesday. Soooo they totally spoiled us! I am soooo amazed and impressed! We got wine, chocolates, snacks, lots of "thank you"'s- I mean seriously. This makes me want to work... haha

Tonight I am meeting up with two girls I pretty much grew up with. One I have caught up with a bit recently since she lives near me and one I haven't seen in about 15 years. It should be interesting! So instead of working after work I am metroing after work into the big city! haha

I just told SB this story and she had a chuckle I think so I will share it with you all. This morning on my way into work I rolled down my window in the rain to smoke a cig. Well I truly thought I was hallucinating as I thought I saw a droplet of water bounce off the top of my window and across the inside of my car. I realized a few seconds later that it was hailing which means I was not in fact hallucinating. :0)

Anyways, just thought I would share my nice surprise. I was seriously surprised and thought it was VERY nice and thoughtful of the execs to do that for us. It goes to show that there *IS* a perk to being an admin biotch, and it happened this year on this very day... haha
