I talked to R yesterday via email about the realities we would face if I were to quit both jobs. I wasn't sure what to expect when he wrote back. I know he's known that I have wanted to quit my day job from the start, but I didn't know if he had thought through paying rent and everything like that without me contributing nearly as much. And then he wrote back to me that he thought it could work and that we would have to scrimp for awhile (no eating out on a regular basis and/or ordering in, no bars on a whim, etc.) I WAS SO HAPPY TO SEE THAT!!! Although I will miss this lifestyle for sure, I love going out to eat and going to bars etc. I also mentioned that if I was home more I could cook more often - and save money that way too. Soooo we have come to the conclusion that as long as I am still bringing in some money (temping and/or a part time job) all will be well. YAY YAY YAY!

I also am excited to start prepping the condo for the market. I want to paint the bedrooms and the master bath a neutral color and just get everything totally presentable. I think we'll end up storing a lot of stuff to make it look more spacious. Exciting times ahead!!!

So I am excited. I am def leaving the day job and still think I will leave the part time job, although I am still torn on that. Truth be told I am 100% tired of working two 12 hour days back to back. Adding in the fact that I haven't been able to kick this lingering cold and it's pure torture. I went to work last night and I have to admit, I like that job. It's fun working with dogs. BUT the time I have to spend away from home, well, I don't like it. My throat also hurt from talking which hasn't happened before. Lingering strep???

I also still think I should investigate a job in a doggie day care to learn more behind the scenes from them though... although perhaps I could ask a local one if I could just trail them for a few days to see the daily ins and outs...

Who knows. I am just glad that it's totally up to me now which direction my future goes. YAY! I love it. 66 more days of the day job, 17 more weeks... but who's counting??? hehehe
