God Bless America

I'm posting some of my stuff over at Blogster that I'm not posting here because for whatever reason I can't seem to get it right and it comes out looking like crap.
When I use the "Advanced editor", it seems I can't post pictures of any kind, when I use the "standard editor" I can't use italics or bold lettering to emphasize a point OR pictures sometimes.

For anyone that is interested, here is a link to that blog... (if links come out)
https://justmyopinion.blogster.com/

I'm going to try and follow eddies directions ONE MORE TIME, and re-print what I posted yesterday and if it doesn't come out right I'll probably just post anything that has a picture in it over there. It's pretty sad when Blogster becomes easier than MyBloggers. I KNOW it's just something I'm doing or not doing as most of you seem to post pictures easily enough. So, here's what I posted yesterday and asked eddie to delete because the pictures came out as "code" instead of the picture.

GOD BLESS AMERICA

The fourth of July is one of my all time favorite holidays. I love thinking about and reading about America and her great heritage. It's only in the recent past that her people have not been united against all comers. Now, it seems that people want to be citizens of "the world" rather than American. There's nothing wrong with caring about the rest of the world. Indeed, America is foremost in caring for the rest of the world. We seem to help wherever and whenever we can, yet these day's we seem to be despised by so many, even citizens of this great nations deride her. How can that be? How did that happen?

America was founded as a Christian nation despite what lefties and the ACLU will tell you. As we turn our backs on the God who founded us, our nation crumbles. I won't argue with you weather we are a Christian nation or not. Our founding documents are re pleat with examples of how we were in fact founded as such. I could spend endless hours supplying references and examples and all the left would say (paraphrased) is NA NA NA NA BOO BOO UHHH UHHH!

As I write this, I'm not mad...or sad...no, it's more like I'm resigned to the fact that many American's on this fourth of July have decided they don't need God. They have decided there is no God. They have decided they are God. Their morality is what count's. The ten commandments are only suggestions of how one might choose to live. Jesus was a good teacher, a good man...God in the flesh...hardly.

Although humanist and liberals alike refuse to see it , the fact remains that God has blessed our nation over and over again because we have always acknowledged HIM. That was up until recently.

In today's America we see ourselves as "self" sufficient and god's in our own eyes. We are the most powerful nation on earth...we need no god. How sad. How self delusional. I tremble at what the GOD you don't believe in may do to this country....or more specifically, may let us do to ourselves.

When 9-11 happened the churches were packed with people that suddenly sought God out. Now, we seem to have it all under control...we don't need Him right now. Will Jehovah be trifled with? I think not.

The Bible, which many of you dismiss, has much to say about "the last day's." It also likens events happening in the last days to a women having a child. The contractions (events) come closer and closer until finally she has a child, or the end comes. Could this be the last days? Certainly. Let's hope and pray not...more for your sake than mine.

I've been very fearful and upset for a long time because I was so afraid of what I see coming to our nation and our world. Through a series of events God has revealed to me that I was not so much afraid for me as for you, or more specifically for the unbeliever. I certainly may be killed for my faith, you on the other hand may be killed or you may prosper (here). You may even rise to great honor (here) or seemingly be un-touched like the German people during WW 2. I beg you to read the book of Revelation in the Bible. Even if you don't believe (yet), pray to a God your not sure of (yet), that He would help you understand, and read it. You do not (in my humble opinion) have a lot of time left to decide, is God real or isn't HE?

As I observe this fourth of July and watch some fireworks and read some of our nations glorious history, I will also pray that our people re-discover the God that spawned this nation. I believe He wants to rescue us, but we need to be willing to admit we need rescuing and that He is the only one that can rescue us.

All that being said, I pray from my heart, GOD BLESS AMERICA. Happy Birthday America!

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
2 Chronicles - Chapter 7 vs. 14

Just my opinion,
Bill

PS....if this doesn't work out you know where to find me. I won't be posting here if I think the article needs both bold type, italics AND a picture or different colored lettering....as this one really did.
There are articles there that don't appear here already.
It's been fun.

Ok, it worked with the "standard editor", but what about italics and bold or different colored lettering?? Guess I'll keep experimenting. Do I have to jump through all those hoops Also, how do I make the image bigger as in the flag with God Bless America at the top of the page. I don't know, it may be to complicated for a simple trucker.
