I wish I didn't have nightmares. One creepy episode of Criminal Minds and I'll be nightmaring all night long.

I remember most of my dreams, too. Which is nice when they're good dreams.

Well, congratulations on the new great grandbabies.

My parents are big fans of the old adage, "I cried because I had no shoes until I met a man who had no feet" but I've always thought being shoeless warranted a little sympathy. Here's to speedy healing, a cleaner home and some happy cheer.

Hmmm...I've had the same strands of lights for years now. I'm sorry your having a holiday struggle! Here's hoping you'll be back to your normally very cheery self after a quick strangling of someone...

Doesn't "top" and "bottom" apply to any sexual orientation?

So, is there a term for a girl who is married to a woman who isn't into women?

I'm glad you admitted to being "mean" so I can, too.But I usually cover by saying I'm "strict", as well.

I hope you enjoy your time with your daughter.

You sound a bit cranky. Perhaps a quick trip to the library would cheer you up?

We have roadside pick up out here for everything. A limit of 3 bags of trash every two weeks and green bins where we toss our food scraps and anything else compostable that is also picked up by the county. By the time one recycles all that can be recycled and composts all that can be composted, it's not hard to keep the trash under the limit...and I have a child still in diapers.I freeze my compost in the summer, though to avoid maggots.Yuck.

The letter Q, eh?

Oh my goodness...I say that all the time...."I had it all planned out!"

Well, my dear, we seem to be much similar situations once again so I totally feel this post. You'd think I would stop being so surprised, eh? I've been feeling the pinch BIG time, too and with three kids to shop for, there's no way I can come even close to what they've had years before. And it's not about the presents...we know that, right? But it is an expression of the love we have for our children and maybe even the thanks we want to extend to them for being such great kids, for getting through some tougher than most times this past year and to let them know that we acknowledge what they've already gone without.

Is it at all possible to talk to your ex about some extra support over the holidays? I know that's not ideal at all but pride never buttered any bread. I did it with Troy...worst conversation ever...but it benefited my kids at least.

And finally...the anger. I get that too, sister. I am exactly the same way. I could take a certain someone OUT I'm so pissed...

It's impossible to describe that pain, isn't it? I mean, I've also had three children and I would gladly go through childbirth again. At least I could walk after I had my kids.

No, I'm not scared of them. I actually still have some for art making (when a fine brush isn't fine enough) and for, well, tooth picking. But I'm really, really, REALLY anal about putting them directly into the garbage. I freak out if someone leaves one lying around. It was one of the kids who was responsible for leaving on the floor that day and now I'm getting the willies just remembering it. *shudder*

Okay, so once I read what your greatest fear was (is), I was thinking, "I should share my story about getting a toothpick stuck in my foot"....No, seriously. That *exact* same thing happened to me, minus the trip to the hospital. That's right. There's a little nub of wood still caught in my foot, "healed in" as they say. The moral? Toothpicks ARE evil.

That sounds really good.I think I will put it on my Christmas wish list. My personal favourite was the Flintstones.
