Ah yes, the good old days. How I never ever miss them.
Ah sure 'n them was funny
That's a wonderful tribute to your Papa.I'll be praying for him and for you too, dear.
Interesting article. I have a favorite prayer: " God grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the Courage to change the things I can, and the Wisdom to know the difference." So what do I find I must change most of the time? Myself and my attitudes.
I can and do change my mind after careful and thoughtful contemplation. But I cannot make another person change his/her mind. So I accept people for who they are. I find I like most people. I avoid negative, bigoted, and hate filled people. I enjoy your blog
a very enlightening blogYou are indeed wise beyond your years. As a sister human being, I appreciate your tolerant thoughtful viewpoints. I'm a Christian who believes that our two most important commandments came from Jesus: Love your God with all your heart and all your mind and all your soul. "This is the first and greatest commandment" and the second is like it. Love your neighbor as you love yourself. It's my personal belief that God loves all his children, and that we are all His children. Many, many many Americans distrust Bush and his cohorts and are anxious to vote him out of power. I also distance myself from the fanatical evangelical Christians who condemn all who don't think like they do. They spew hate, not love. Thank you for this excellent article
The universe agrees with you. When I first moved to AZ I was VERY homesick for California and my ocean. A few trips back reminded me of wht we left...smog, traffic, smog. I still need a CA fix a coupla times a year, but this is home now
