Dear jon, 1) this is the first I've heard about Bunjii -- I am working my way through a backlog of posts. I am so sorry to hear about the tumor. Kiss him for me. (That is a truly beautiful painting.)
Verah cool, JD.
This whole thing with Bunjii has wrecked me, arthritis-wise. I have taken so much Advil my stomach growls. I am trying to stay off the harder stuff but my back is about as strong as a wet lasagna noodle.
Those are so pretty Jondude!!
I'm sorry to hear about Bunjii. He is in my prayers and thoughts. Please keep us posted. How old is he?
Bunjii:
I took him to the vet this afternoon. They say it is a fast-growing tumor. It is about the size of a plum now. The schedule was to have surgery on Monday but my concern showed and they decided to do it tomorrow (Friday) morning. He will probably come home on Saturday.
The difficulties:
1. The healing will be onerous. The surgery requires cutting open the muscle in order to remove the mass. Healing will be painful and take some time. He won't be able to stretch or walk on it well. 2. He will have to be confined to a closed room with a litter box and food, water and a clean bed. I will keep him in my studio or the guest room. 3. We don't know yet if it is benign or the other kind of tumor.
Your prayers are solicited.
BEAUTIFUL
Cool!!
ok thats my all time favorite jon. will check your website for the cost.
I'm taking Bunjii (big golden tabby) to the doctor place today at 1:00. He has a hard mass sticking up between his scapula and ribs on his upper right side. He doesn't appear to be in pain but ...
