Some Political Fun Here ...

If you were elected President on November4, you would convene a meeting on November 5th and begin the transition to your administration - by delegating a lot of jobs. Who would you pick?

Here are some of my picks"

National Security Advisor: Colin Powell (Yes. I know he is a "Republican.")

Economic Advisor: Cramer (A Big Boo-Yah!)

Secretary of State: Bill Clinton (He would turn it down. So I would ask his old lady. LOL)

Secretary of Defense: Bill Bellichek

Secretary of the Treasury: Warren Buffet

Secretary of Homeland Security: Chuck Norris

Secretary of Energy: Definitely T. Boone Pickens

White House Press Secretary: Lili Tomlin

Chair of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC): Cramer can double-up and have that one, too.

Ambassador to Botswanaland: Sarah Palin

Ambassador to Russia: Frank (the comedian)

Ambassador to Cuba: (Who do I know besides me who smokes good cigars?) I may keep that one for myself on weekends.

.......

OK. So I like making fun of serious subjects and people. Sometimes that is what we need, to take it less seriously than it appears. Have a laugh and try your own picks.

......

Speaking of politics...
I am going to vote YES on Ohio Issue 6, the Casino. I think the jobs it will create are a good thing. I have no fear of gamblers or casinos. The taxes and the payrolls will benefit the state, albeit the southwest corner of it where they plan to build the complex. As for the "sin" of gambling, everyone gambles. They get in their cars and drive on the highways. They eat at all these fast food joints. They buy Chinese goods. So what's the problem?

I thought he might offer Health, Education and Welfare to Hillary. But she would be good as Sec of State. I do think she will be in his Cabinet. Meanwhile, I heard one scenario for Palin in the aftermath of the election. She is now a Republican star and the analysts are guessing she will try for the Senate. Count on it. And if Alaskans are really stupid, they will elect her. Personally, yes she should go overseas to a country full of jungle and get bit by a rattler. Nothing like having a family member sink their teeth into your ankle.

they've been running those ads for the Ohio casino amendment on the tube here(as we are just across the river from y'all) I don't have a problem with casinos either, being the unrepentant gambler that I am. I've often said we could use a few of them here in this benighted state. God knows there's nothing else here but coalmining and welfare.

reguards
yer I gotta get working on my cabinet announcements pal

We have casinos everywhere in Oklahoma. Haven't noticed any more corrupted people than before.
