Great photo. This election was so amazing and gratifying that I decided to go join some social-cause things. It was community organization that apparently won it, I think.

Coulda been us. I'm just glad it's over. We still have a long row to hoe for the next four years.

They will never get it because they are too rigid to change.

1. Wondering if I should even get a Christmas tree this year, with these three little terrorist kittens in the house. They wrecked my table lamp trying to play with the pull chain. They constantly tip over chairs. They wiped off a whole shelf of ceramic things. A tree would be too much for them, I think. If I don't do a tree it will be the first time in my adult life.
2. I hear a lot about 'fiscal cliffs.' I was shoved off of a fiscal cliff ten years ago and still have not hit the bottom.

On #2: "Even before Obama gets to his second inaugural on Jan. 20, he must deal with the threatened "fiscal cliff." A combination of automatic tax increases and steep across-the-board spending cuts are set to take effect in January if Washington doesn't quickly reach a budget deal. Experts have warned that the economy could tip back into recession without an agreement."

I vote no on the tree. When Buddy and his sister were young, we thought we'd skip having a tree for just one year. It became 2 or 3 years, and then we decided they were old enough so put one up with just lights near the bottom, no ornaments. Buddy walked up to it and ate one of those lights. We were glad we were there to see it, and reassembled the pieces to make sure he didn't swallow any. No tree from then on.

OH NO! Four more years of Hannity and O'Reilly?

It was a close race. Went to bed thinking we might end up with Romney. I was surprised too! And pleased.
