The long, hard winter of our lives. I am the recipient of permanent back strain. Come on, Spring!
Really great photos!
You live in such a beautiful place.
As I recall, Captain Jack's had a great prime rib. Wait! Have I ever been there before?
And not just the ones in the photo.
I have made this three times now. I followed the recipe to the Nth degree, too. Excellent egg salad.
Happy birthday!
I live 40-45 miles from Lake Erie. When the spring and summer storms rake the lake, our school yards are full of seagulls.
We are having a three-day Spring. 40s today. 50 and severe wind and rainstorms tomorrow, then back in the chill.
Everything had changed here when I moved back after 50 years. Fields outside the oldcity limits are filled with Wal-Mart, mall and auto sales lots. Fast food restaurants line the main west side street. My old late mother couldn't recognize anything. On the other hand, our old village of 350 people where we grew up five miles from here has not changed at all.
My vegan friends get steamed broccoli with melted ersatz cheese food shmoozed all over it, sprinkled with toasted almond slivers and a side dish of hummus, but I get a nice grilled steak and real cheese on my potato. LOL
The sinus infection I had in October/November made me dizzy and unstable when I would stand up. It eventually brought on the pneumonia. He probably experienced the same thing. Good thing that he is hospitalized, so the pneumonia will be stopped before it gets a chance to hit him. I understand your isolation from his illness. No way should you attempt to drive there!
