I have a rule about calls: I never answer calls from people I do not know. No 800 or 900 numbers, either. Ever.
Great photo!
I would have got back in the car and kept going.
Try rice vinegar in crust!
Thanks! I make the Blue Ribbon style using butter and lard instead of shortening, too. Excellent. Lard makes a very flaky crust.
I keep a huge heavy mallet putter and a machete within arm's length of the doors. No problem. Not that I am paranoid but who knows what an ex-wife might try.
Re: the tragedy. I've been to elaborately-staged events and music concerts with stages that looked near big as rocket launching pads at Cape Canaveral. I never though they were so flimsy that one would collapse in a wind storm and kill so many people.
I am shopping for a smart phone and a new deal. My Verizon phone is 6 years old now and I want a good one-price deal too. So, since my contract ran out last winter I can shop all over. The difference in prices between the stores (franchises) and the real phone companies (online) are huge.
Google your Boost/Motorola web site and buy it there. 90 percent of cell phone purchases and deals are done on the internet. You also get the best deals that way. When you buy at one of their stores (privately owned!!!) you pay their commission.
I lived in Long Beach, CA for 30 years. Our neighborhood was two residential and quiet streets that looped together in a "U" shape at one end. Every year we had a "cul-de-sac" party on a Sunday at the end where the two streets looped together. Neighbors (about 30 homes) brought barbecues, tables, chairs and lots of food. I did the BBQ thing one year with my huge smoker BBQ and cooked about 25 racks of prk ribs. A guy next to me was doing hamburgers, maybe 20 at a time. I recall there were about 10 BBQs going at once. Tubs full of soda, water, beer and wine. The city allowed us to cordon off the streets at the other end and sent one fire truck down so the kids could get in the cab and have their pics taken wearing a fireman's hat. Somebody paid for and set-up a rock band in the street, sound system included. It was a blast! I miss that togetherness.
We got that today. Still looks like more is on the way, too.
Yes. I had to go back to Safari after Firefox changed its update and no longer supports my Mac machine's OS. Sad,because I really liked Firefox.
A death sentence should be a death sentence. A life sentence should be a life sentence. What's with the idea of "parole?" Who sets these laws about sentencing? Society should be glad, particularly the criminals, that I was never a judge.
Glass is nasty. I look for metal and plastic now, as I am a butter-fingered person. More about the shrimp de-veiner???
