Just a Request ...

Friends, it's over.

The country will be fine now, but there will be hard word to accomplish.

Let's all put away the arrows and slings and be Americans again.

It is a fine, bright and promising morning.

Some hate is still spewing on Blogster; but is has calmed down a lot. Our government leaders--Bush, McCain, et all--have set the tone. I hope others will follow.

Steer clear of Blogster then. There is hate still spewing, but I am happy to say that it is in the minority now.

Barack has his work cut out for him. He made a great start with his inspiring speech. McCain, too, became his old self again, and pledged support and conciliation. And even Bush, this morning, gave a healing message. These remarks are important in healing us. We will never get some support, particularly from the crowd that shouted hate slogans at Palin rallies, but they are now outnumbered. I'll bet she runs for the Alaskan senate. If they are smart, they'll vote her out.

On this bright day, full of hope and possibilities, let's join hands to do the work. Yes we can!

Now the real hard work begins.

We've got work to do in America. We have to repair the damage done in the last 8 years, put in place a plan to cement the nation together as never before, and make good on some promises.

The days of "Me-me" are over. We are all in this together.

Roll up your sleeves! It's morning again.
