I enjoyed today. I had my first date in a very long time. It was unique, and I was nervous for a while, but we had a good time.

I can't really get into who she is or any personal details. I have known her for some time, and that will do.

I picked her up and brought her to my place because she wanted to see my artwork, the Christmas decorations, and meet my cats. Then we went to a restaurant in Findlay for an extended lunch. I took her to Cheddars.

After that we did some mall shopping and browsing. She spent some cash but I didn't, as I had bought the lunch. I have a fifty dollar gift card for a bookstore but we didn't shop there.

We returned to town and had a drink at T.J. Willie's before I took her home. She works tonight (health care professional), so she had to be ready for that.

It was very good and I did need that kind of break from my regular boring routine.

The cats seemed to like her, too.

I had to remember to let her do most of the talking, and I did. But she probed for information about my marriages and why I ever came back from the coast. I am good at changing subjects, so I limited my speech.

I asked her if we could do something again and she agreed. Very nice.
