3. Go visit Hobbie's page to see new pics of Rinpoche, the sometimes feral cat we have adopted.

4. Ball game tonight. Hopewell-Loudon HS vs. Otsego, at Hopewell, my alma mater. I love the Friday night games because of the scarlet and gray powerhouse football teams and the $1.50 bratwursts. It's like old home night and I get to visit with old homies.

Hopewell-Loudon (my alma mater) had a tough first three quarters, but cut loose in the 4th and won by a touchdown and a field goal. The other team (Otsego) played them hard and I thought could have won. I nearly froze in the stands. It was a cold wind and I wore a long sleeved tee-shirt and a jean jacket. Next game I will wear leather and a hooded sweatshirt!

Hooray! Football season is here again. Good luck to the home team. Actually, New Zealand is quite unstable. Has several fault lines running through it, according to Holly, who has been there several times. Did a lot of damage; but so far it appears no deaths, so that is really good news.
