Wrong with This Picture

You tell me what's wrong with this picture.
Yesterday, an illegal alien told me that the US is using the cartel situation in Mexico as an excuse get into Mexico as it has in so many other countries.
The irony will probably be lost on him forever. He seemed so fervently sure of his position. LOL

After reading your comment on redimpala's blog I came here to catch up on your blogs--unless you count this as rude I don't so why you made that comment--everyone seems to be civil, polite even if/when disagreeing with you.

It has more to do with their attitude and language in their posts and comments not on my page. When people of my particular world view are mentioned on MyBloggers it is with great derision and vehement ridicule. Enough said. I'm not trying to cause a problem by my comment, redimpala's post just struck a cord with me.

I hate to say this because it sound as though I lack compassion. They
are wrecking our economy with their large families and use of benefits.
At the same time, they work long and hard doing things no one else is willing to do like concrete work and roofing for low wages. Somehow the
work ethic has disappeared in our country. A handyman service would be a
blessing to us all.

Double edged sword, isn't it? Not an easy issue to address, but the hypocrisy of this man's position cracked me up.

Reminds me of Puerto Rico and its history of split personality regarding independence and U.S. benefits.

They seem to want the best of both worlds. Not a tenable proposition.
