I am so glad you are back home. The Mexican gangs in Oklahoma City are so
cruel. They did a home invasion yesterday and even took the guy's puppy,
only to turn him loose on the street. Fortunately they were caught in a
little while and his puppy was found wandering the street. We stay away
from South West Oklahoma City because it just isn't safe anymore. I have
worried about you any Jenny and are so glad you made it back safely.

The perspective is a bit off. It's not nearly as spindly as it looks. It's a new bridge which cut lots of time and headache off of our exit. Totally avoids a city a HATE to travel through.

Although I will miss Mexico terribly, inwardly, I'm delighted at the prospect of doing some of things I've been dreaming of doing here. "Torn between two lovers, feeling like a fool..." That about sums it up.

Beautiful road -- no guard house? Or is it out of view. Glad you made it without incident. It must feel strange.

The guard houses are on each extreme of the road (not visible in the picture). It DOES feel somewhat strange. We will face a bit of culture shock the first few months until we re-acclimatize to American culture. Imagine that.
