We're on our feet again. Julia had pneumonia. I had flu. Jennifer caught some undetermined virus and Sofia appears to be the only strong one among us. She weathered right on through the storm.
Here's a picture of the flu virus:
It was good to get back to work. I'm looking forward to being in church again tomorrow.
I need to Google something when I finish here. Today found me raking leaves and wondering why. Why DO we rake leaves? I know that if too many of them are left in one place it can kill the grass. I'm just not sure why we rake all of them. Then, there's the issue of how to dispose of them. I kinda miss the burn barrel days.
Spare me the evironment speech. I know why we no longer do it and I'm on board with the concept. Besides, this neighborhood isn't exactly rural. hehe
Additionally, the moles have taken over parts of the front yard now. They've owned the back yard from Day One. I need to get serious about removal or someone will twist an ankle and sue us, or something like that.
As you can tell from this internet photo, they're mocking me and my efforts:
That's all for now. We're meeting my family for dinner tonight at a local restaurant. Have a great weekend everyone.
