I made myself go answer all your comments before I wrote another post. I'm a day behind, but I'm getting caught up right now.
Yesterday, (Day 3) we stayed around the beautiful cabin until about 10am. We then left for Cheyenne, Wyoming. Don't blink or you'll miss it. I was looking for skyscrapers to alert me that we had arrived, but none were to be seen. It really is a short, little city, but beautiful.
Very western and flat and windy. I'm used to that, being from Oklahoma. We weren't very prepared with a list of things to do, so we just ate at a great little burger place downtown called "Two Doors Down" and then drove around a bit before heading back to the cabin.
After reading for a bit, we went back to Estes Park to indulge in some Starbucks and take our 3.75mi walk around Lake Estes. It was every bit as beautiful and enjoyable as it was the day before. We walked briskly, so sooner or later I started feeling the burn. Love that feeling! We came back "home" and read until late at night.
