I can hardly believe that my son has been at school for 2 weeks already. We have had the sounds, s, a, t, and i. We have also been practicing the number 2 and  reading about the happenings of Kipper and his older siblings Biff and Chip. Word tins are not what I remember, he has the names Biff, Chip and Kipper in there so far. The tin (or should I say tub) is a small plastic tupperware box,  suppose the tobacco tins we used to get are not seen as being very PC these days!
He seems to be enjoying it and setteling in well with school and the other children. Next week the have a chance to take an adult to lunch so that they can see what goes on there. As it stands he is only going to school in the mornings and won't start all day until a week on Monday. So that in itself will be a culture shock.  The lunch time visit will be strange as they have their lunch in the high school canteen that I used to go to. A bit of  a blast from the past and I am sure thet there is a chance to meet some of the old fossils (sorry teachers) that were there all those years ago.
I have also impressed myself in the fact that I have managed to get up and be at school every day on time, infact with time to spare.  The major pain in the ass has been the fact that we have had to hang around and wait for 40 minutes between collecting J from school and dropping L off at nursery. But thankfully because J has settled in well at school my friend (who's child is in his class) is able to collect him and allow me a little time so that I don't have to picnic with the kids every day at school.
Better go, although there is no homework at the weekend we do still have the uniform to wash etc. Fun times.
Have a great weekend. i'm off to deliver more Avon books. Which BTW I managed to place my first reps order online last night so next Friday will be the moment of truth when it arrives as to whether or not I have cocked it up or not!! LOL
