DH and I decided on Tuesday night that we should try and book a hotel in Inverness for this weekend. It has been awhile since we have been away anywhere and the kids love the adventure.
Inverness is always nice but the weather forecast is for snow! Typical! Not much can be done about that.
We have booked a travel lodge where I know we all fit in the one room have our own bathroom and the hotel is in a retail complex with a cinema, pizza hut and big supermarket so we will be catered for fairly well without having to go too far. Although Dh wants to take the kids on a boat trip to Loch Ness, but if it looks a little choppy then I think I will give that one a miss. We might go ovder the Kessock bridge and see if we can see any "sea-dolphins" (as L speaks about). They are just ordinary dolphins but L doesn't get that! Cute.
Alot of what we would like to do is very much weather permitting but the kids are good when it comes to touring around the countryside that I am sure we will be ok siteseeing from the warmth of the car.
I have to go and see what the boys have "stuffed" into their rucksacks and then discreatly replace the unsuitable with the suitable!
