Just before Christmas I discovered that you can actually get paid for participating in online surveys. I signed up to several different sites and some send offers of surveys more than others.  The level of reward differs from site to site aswell. Some pay you in cold hard cash, others vouchers for either shops or online stores.
I had an invite to a survey today and out of curiosity I thought I would see what I had earned to date. As I hadn't accessed my member centre since I joined I had to get my password resent. But it was worth the wait. I think I have done 10 surveys at the most for this company - most were no more than 10 minutes long. I got a pleasant surprise I have earned over 3000 points which equates to £20 of vouchers for high street shops plus some points to spare. 
Another site is sitting at £3 shy of the payout level of £20 - so there is another little bit to pocket in a month's time. The cashback site that I use also sends surveys too so I am well on my way to earning £30 of Amazon vouchers.
I am sure I have missed some but I think that isn't bad for a SAHM who only pops on the internet a few times a day for no more than a half an hour at a time. I really need to sit and see what sites I have used so that I can work out how much money has gone towards my Christmas and Birthday fund so far!! I am also needing (well I don't really need but would like) a new printer. I fancy a 3 in one so that I can scan pics in that we took pre-digital camera! Also the one I have's print quality isn't that great. It can now be bought for less that it costs to buy ink for it!!
