The boys seem to be going through a REALLY naughty stage, today, infact everyday things seem to be worse - maybe it is my patience that is worse and they are just staying the same! It is the whining and (what seems like) costant moaning that drives me nuts. The tears at the drop of a hat, the leg hugging and dropping to the floor tantrums that are so frustrating. There is of course the nipping and poking at each other for no other reason than to get a rise out of the recipient. This always ends in a massive fight, normally physical with my two and always ends in tears.
Take today, I am trying to sort their room out so that the joiners can come in on Friday and take the wall back a bit to give them more floor space. I have explained to them what is going to happen and what it will be like and how it will be so much better for them and they seem excited by it. So, why has everything I have removed from their room and put in their sister's room now ended up back in their room and in a major state of disaray?! Why do I bother?
I have just used the bin bag line and the fact that anything on the floor will go in the bin if they do not reverse the situation. We are trying to get it in such a way that only the big stuff needs to be moved the night before. Well that one landed on deaf ears!
Better go and get one to nursery - maybe I stand a better chance of making some head way with one kid out of the way!
