I have just collected another batch of Avon books - not a fruitful trip - 1 order out of 20. But I shouldn't grumble this was a drop to homes that haven't ordered anyway. I don't want to drop this new book off to existing customers until their order is delivered - I think that is a bit tight expecting them to order again before there last one has even left the warehouse!!
There is one book that should have come with a bio-hazard label though. I don't even want to know why the pages are stuck together or what with!! MINGING!! Needless to say I just put it in the recycle box - it wasn't any use. It is probably an innocent sticky stuff but one can't help wondering though - maybe Avon books float someone's boat!!
Enough of that though I think I might just hurl.
In other news......this morning's school run was far less stressful. I made sure I wasn't in the same room as J for more than 5 minutes so that I couldn't actually see him not doing what I asked. It worked my blood wasn't at boiling point and he did get dressed.....eventually!!
Sunny day here and my washing machine is going for what seems like the 4th time already today - hope it doesn't have a melt down like my dishwasher did the other day! A strange electrical burning smell started to fill the house the a clunk and a bang!! No more dishwasher. DH felt sorry for me and went out and bought a new one - but added that it is just as well I have started doing AVON - so I will be paying for it over the next goodness knows how long LOL.
