Warning sister bashing from here on!

My youngest sister is 27 going on 15. She is the most immature person I know and I have three children under 6! She recently, well not so recent actually, split from her partner of 10 years six months ago. They had grown apart. This probably had alot to do with the fact that he had grown up and was looking to settle down. She, on the other hand was far happier socialising with my 19 year old cousin and her friends along with poking people every 5 minutes on Facebook.

Well just after Christmas she started to see someone else. We heard about it second hand, so bearing that in mind the fact that we couldn't be less interested is fairly understandable IMHO.

WE met the guy at my other sister's on January 1. My BIL introduced us but with no hint that he was with my lil sis. We just figured he was one of BIL's friends. After my wee sis (A) left my other sister (P) told us that was A's new friend! The following week was my daughter's birthday and A still didn't mention the fact that she was back dating again.

But then a few weeks later we were at my mum's and A made a throwaway comment about her date. I had only come into the room and missed most of the conversation so didn't take part or show any interest. This has apparently bothered her. So much so that when my mum was here last week she started having a go at me about how much I had upset A with not being excited about her seeing someone new. Frankly I couldn't give a flying figg! This is the rebound guy, yes he could be the one but I don't remember having to make a fuss when she started to see her ex. It has only been 6 months hardly a drought in my book - I went 18 months before I started seeing DH. I don't remember a fuss being made of me!

I don't why she thinks I should be interested she hasn't taken the time to ACTUALLY tell me about her new sitation and she most definately hasn't made any effort to introduce us. All this taken into account I really don't think I am wrong with my lack of interest. Ok I might be taking the moral high ground a little and not made any real effort to find out. Well the fact is she shows no interest in my kids or us. In the run up to Christmas all three of my kids were ill. My daughter (now 2) was taken into hospital for observations due to gastroenteritis and both my sons had fevers which floored then for near a week each. Did she ask how they were?

Did she thump!

I am sure this will not be the end of this as she is coming round tonight with something for DH for helping her shift her stuff out of her flat at the weekend. Watch this space for the next installment.
