Alarm Bell Ringing

As if the task of getting up and out of the house for the hospital wasn't enough for one day I decided to go shopping afterwards!

Firstly we went to the discount food store where you get cheap fruit and veg - we needed bananas badly and they were doing promos on melons and mangoes too. I saw some other bits n pieces that would be nice to have and then we headed to the cashpoint. L had been good all the way round the store until we made it to the checkout. There he decided to swing on the barrier of the adjacent tillpoint, here he managed to set the alarm off. A very pissed looking store manager appeared to switch the air raid siren off and just glowered at my son - Jeez go and grow a sence of humour. Was he never a 2 year old?

After that I headed to another supermarket which has a great "free from" range of food for my daughter and her food intollerances. Our first port of call was the bathroom. I always use the disabled toilets when I have the kids as the others are far too small for more than 1! Here my son pulled the emergency cord - he thought it was a light pull. I was expecting a charge of people to see what was wrong, but it took at least 3 minutes for anyone to appear. Remeind me never to take ill in that shop!

Shopping completed we headed to the checkout with our haul of foods with feck all in them! Wheat free, egg, free, dairy free, etc. She likes them, thankfully. In the queue here my son ran at the barrier - just before I could grab him in time he hit the barrier and a claxon went off. Once again we were met by a pissed off assistant who has obviously had to deal with this situation once too often!

I am now home, and my eldest is refusing to come home until after his tea. We have now all been invited so I am off to kick back and reminis as to how "easy" things were when we only had two children! Not that I would change it for a minute but two really is a managable number!!
