Well, finally arrived in Florida and the first thing to do was visiting some typical Orlando things. We already made plans for these three days in Holland. Programmed today SeaWorld, tomorrow Kennedy Space Center and the day after tomorrow Epcot centre.
We drove to SeaWorld by car, cause the scheduled times for the shuttle were too bad.
Once in SeaWorld I first went to the Manta, a nice rollercoaster. Up side down I had a marvelous ride. Once in SeaWorld its a must to see some nice shows as well. Well we went to the dolphin and the killer whale show. Nice shows but I need to admit the killer whale show was a bit disappointing.
Pity that quite early in the afternoon (round 2 pm) a thunderstorm came by and a lot of things were not possible anymore. We left and went to an outlet center ( and yes already bought too much there).
The next day: Kennedy Space Center. An amazing day with receiving lots of info about all space programs from the past and the future. Nice to see all places we saw once on TV when the first man walked on the moon. Also interesting to know what all is needed for a new launch of a space shuttle, what is needed in the last 12 minutes before the launch, what astronauts experience and lots more. It was a great day with a lot of info ( learned a lot!).
The last day in Orlando (or actually Kissimmee) we went to Epcot. Expositions of 11 countries there which were very interesting ( although I already knew a lot about the European countries lol) Some countries had a great media show. Pity that the movie in France was very very old.
After the countries we did the rest but, old as we are, round 7PM we had had it and left for dinner and then home!

Just 1 night to go and then off to Tampa.

Somehow, I've never done the Disney/Epcot/SeaWorld / Kennedy scenario. Those big attractions never caught my fancy. But I'm glad you had a good time.

I love Epcot and Kennedy Space Center. It has been ages since I have been to any of these places. You are making me want to go back!
