Expansion #2

We now are in the process of being busy with it all day. I mean, when I come home there every time is something to do or to manage. Call the builder, mail the plumber, make an appointment with the electrician. We need to be sure the builder can start drilling piles next Thursday ( 2 piles are needed for fundament of the expansion), so terrace is removed and sand is ready to be removed.
As I told before we placed our old kitchen on "marktplaats" a kind of e-bay site (Dutch). We had several reaction, only problem is when we reply them they don't seem to have interest anymore. With one person I tried to made an appointment by email. He wanted to buy the kitchen and remove it himself professionally, but I haven't heard anything since last Friday.
Fact is that another person ,ailed me showing interest as well for a higher amount then the one I already was busy with. To be sure I made an appointment with the new one. She wants to see the kitchen in person so next Friday.... I told her that if the other interested one will get in touch with me I will call her. I am such a bad negotiator for these things.
One thing for sure: I need to get rid of the kitchen in the weekend of November 29.

Will keep you informed.

How frustrating! That is one of the troubles with e-commerce. Sometimes people are joking around when they bid or respond or sometimes they do change their minds.
My friend Bren had a similar problem when he was looking for a roommate.

I don't think I can take your old kitchen off your hands. Might be a bit difficult getting it from there to here, especially if I have to remove it myself. Good luck with the selling...the deadline is not that far away.

Just as long as it is NOT your butt that is expanding!!!
Like everything else in life people seem interested but don't follow through!
