Great photo. Is that one on your family wall? Happy Belated Birthday Don.
Too Much of this??????
Tonight we sleep in the guestroom. Its cooler down there. Glad to hear that the doggie do issue is/has improved. Time for a cold one (water).
We just returned to the island after a few days socializing in the city. The house has been all shut up with all the blinds drawn but the inside temperature was 29 degrees. The apartment in the city was HOT too, so I'm looking forward to a cooling spell as well. We head to Calif. on Friday and it was only 20 degrees in San Francisco yesterday. Wilt. Wilt.
Yikes! How did all this fit in her small place? When we down-sized we rented a storage space and crammed it full of furniture. A year later (and many storage space payments later) we gave almost everything away, but we needed that time to say good-bye to our stuff.
I am just catching up on my reading and I am so sorry to hear about Peaches. I know how difficult it can be losing a pet since they become part of the family.
Where do you find such colourful pillowcases? This one looks like a Hawaiian muumuu. Aloha!
I'll save the fur next time I brush Tartan. My worst bug experience was in Gimli Manitoba where they are inundated with fish flies each summer. Everywhere in town was covered in them and the dead ones collected along the water edge and smelled like dead fish. The flies are about the same size as crane flies but smell bad. Yuck!
Adorable. Hopefully it will fit since its sooooo cute.
Our uninvited guest was a bat who came in through our chimney. We discovered him/her hanging inside the fireplace but luckily the fireplace is enclosed with glass doors. When we tried to get it out, it escaped into the house but quickly found an open door. Phew!!!!! Meanwhile, I was hiding out in another room until it was gone.
I regularly drop stitches (usually when I stop paying attention for a few minutes) and I know how aggravating that is and my work NEVER has so many stitches to deal with. How long will it take you to fix it?
I'd never thought of carrying pepper spray to fend off vicious dogs. Many years ago Teddy was attached by a large dog while we were walking down the road and luckily we were both there, so one of us could help keep them apart. It was definitely scary.
What a great job you've done with the fur. Did you know that Mum spun and knit some of Teddy and Tartan's fur and it didn't include any obnoxious material? They were and are clean guys. Mum used her dog hair as an accent in sweaters. Woof! Woof!
