Hi, Everyone. It's me, Brody/buddy. Its quite late and Auntie Bugg and Auntie Crazy Sis are here keeping me and my brother and sister company. Mommy has gone out with her school friends to celebrate the end of the school year and "throw back a few"....whatever that means. I just went out with Auntie Bugg for a pee (I peed, actually. Auntie Bugg just stood there holding my leash and saying stuff like "well...anytime this century, Brody/buddy". I don't know why she's always in such a hurry. I mean who's pee break is it, anyway? Mine or hers? I gotta sniff and find just the right spot don't I? She has no appreciation for aesthetics.
All is quiet now. Auntie Bugg is sleeping in Mommy's bed and Auntie Crazy Sis is on the couch in the living room. I patrol between them making sure all is secure. We can't have those nasty cats outside breaking in here. I don't understand the dynamic between Auntie Bugg and Auntie Crazy Sis. Or between Auntie Bugg and everyone else in the family. Grandma, Mommy and Auntie Crazy Sis don't act like they like Auntie Bugg very much. And I have a feeling its mutual. They are always arguing about something or other. Usually its about Mommy and what she does or the way Auntie Crazy Sis "spoils" Daisy and Jethro. Auntie Bugg sez they're gonna grow up to be j.d.s and Auntie Crazy Sis sez they are not shown enough love. I think Auntie Bugg is about to wash her hands of the whole mess. At least that's what she keeps muttering. But I think she really means it this time. I sure would miss Auntie Bugg if she didn't come around. I know Jethro and Daisy May would too. Sometimes I think I'd rather go live with cats.
Well I gotta go take another pee. Lemme go wake up Auntie Bugg and hear her say "Jesus H. Christ, you just went out an hour ago." She's so funny when she gets upset.
