Well I guess that sound I woke up to this morning was a combination of Hell freezing over and the dawn of a new day in America.

As a member of no political party I wish Mr. Obama well.

 He is going to have a hard way to go. Expectations are very high for him. Many of his supporters are looking for immediate change and I am afraid that is not how Washington works.

One good thing that came out of this is now that Joe Biden is Vice-President elect we will never hear from him again. I have a feeling our new President will keep him on a tight leash. Joe has a big foot in mouth problem.

One thing I have learned is that the Office tends to make the Man.

So to my friends on the left and right-don’t be surprised if Mr. Obama turns out to be a little more of a middle of the road than you expected.

I am in way glad that Mrs. Palin can go back to Alaska and be with her family. She did not deserve what she got from a leftist media. She was (in my opinion) and is one of us. She is small town America maybe at its best.
