It's been awhile since we went to Lester's but going to the Theatre in Miami presents a problem--well many like driving there in rush hour but mainly when it comes to eating.


Ah 'the good old days' when I used to eat AFTER the show but choices are very slim now except for places like IHOP or Denny's and unless you want to pay more a meal than a show ticket it's Denny's with what time you have once you get down there. which is where we have been eating but this time we decided to start out a little earlier and went to Lester's Diner a landmark in Fort Lauderdale but with prices they now charge and the remodeling it's not a diner anymore!


In Fort Lauderdale we have been going to the Cafe Vico before the show and I love that place. Outback, not the best but not bad if you remember to tell them to go easy on the seasoning on the steak, has become a Thursday after Dollar Tree lunch spot and Subway is one of 3 places we to after the movie on Friday. Haven't been to Boston Market for awhile and after this week I knew why!


Time to try new places again and return to Quarterdeck and The Cheesecake Factory AFTER my birthday.
