Allen got a great surprise, and early
birthday presents today--his daughter presented him with twins--a boy
and a girl--each weighing 5+ pounds having come a few weeks early but
all doing well-- giving birth yesterday--now if only she would have
waited until tomorrow!!

I mentioned that yesterday Allen and I went to the
ArtServe exhibit at the
library.  ArtServe strives to be South Florida’s premier provider of
programs, resources, facilities and training for the arts community.
They have a series of programs regarding all aspects of art from
business and the skills needed to succeed. They allow  local
performing artists to showcase their talents to diverse
audiences; In the Gallery the artists have a year-round venue to exhibit
exhibit and sell their work on consignment The gallery hosts up to 10
gallery exhibits annually, each showcasing local talent
in all artistic media.

This month they are presenting an exhibit
dealing with healing through the arts in various forms such as
sculpture, photography and paintings. The following piece was done by a
lady artist who lives at Gateway.
