W-e-e-e-l-l-l-l Seafood is Good for You!

I
am not particularly a lover of Red Lobster but I do love shrimp and
they are in the middle of their 'all you can eat shrimp special' so I
talked Allen and John to go there for lunch. They, not being as
adventurous as I am (or as big an eater!), had a regular lunch meal.

Not being stupid I didn't fill up with the rolls or all the accompaniments though I did have the bowl of Cole
slaw that came along with the meal, a couple of stalks of the broccoli
and a few bites of the rice pilaf otherwise all I ate was shrimp--I had
2 orders of shrimp scampi, teriyaki shrimp, fried shrimp, Cajun shrimp--would have had more but we had to leave as John had to be at the gym where he volunteers.

Though
the shrimp was good they all tasted the same, even the fried shrimp,
which is one of the problems with Red Lobster whose parent company also
runs the Olive Garden where they are known for serving bland tasting
sauces.

After we dropped John off and went to buy the powerball winning tickets for tonight we decided that we had to go to Dairy Queen
to get the fishy taste out of our mouth--that sounds logical to me--and
I had a soft ice cream cone dipped in chocolate and Allen had a
Blizzard.

All
in all not a bad lunch but not one of the better ones--next time I want
all the shrimp I can eat it will be off to Catfish Dewey's!
