Thoughts in My Head--yes, I Do Have Them!

This is one of those blogs going from here to there--no individual subject enough for a full blog (well, at least until I get started on a subject!)

I mentioned last week about going to my primary doctor, getting on the scale and it showing an 11 pound gain--I cut out all sweets for since then and have lost 8 of the 11 pounds--I just might continue as I assume the more weight I lose before the operation the better off it will be.

Along those lines, since I will be knocked out, and the surgeon mentioned that if he can see a way of 'fixing' my arterial defliberation while he is in there, which would only take 15-20 minutes more he would, I think I will suggest to him to do a little liposuction--hey, why not??

I don't which will be harder--the surgery or the withdrawal of blogging/posting, reading and/or commenting for the month or so--I think the latter--I might stop commenting/blogging a few days, a week?, before.

I, also, don't know how I will control my e-mail--as it is I get about 40-50 'notifications' plus regular e-mail--the box will get filled up pretty quick--I was thinking of unsubscribing to all the blogs but that would be a pain plus having to subscribe again afterwards--any ideas, suggestions?

Got a copy of my blood work back--really surprised my total cholesterol was only 173--I have really been hitting the saturated fats (sweets) for the past 3 months--my LDL was high--106--I can never remember whether that is the good ro bad cholesterol. Also, my Prothrombin Time ( coumindin measurement) was a little low but haven't heard from doc about increasing dose and, as usual, my PSA is a little high but that doesn't seem to bother the urologist.

Oh, yes, I, also, have an 'unremarkable abdomen' which I understand is a good thing (though I think I am remarkable all over!)

Feeling a little guilty--as usual I went grocery shopping today and when I got home I noticed a little container of yogurt which I know I didn't buy--I assume the bagger made a mistake taking it from the previous shopper and putting it in with my stuff--was he trying to tell me something??--but I didn't feel like going back to the store--rationalized it would cost more for gas to return it than it actually cost--so I ate it. My bad???

Last, but certainly not least, a shout out for Honeybugg--if you haven't read her blogs you should for at least 3 reasons: 1) She will soon be running our country 2) You will laugh out loud at most of her blogs and 3) her salutations to her comments are as funny as anything you have read.

Way to go on the weight loss! I know you felt bad about the yogurt and you WANTED to return it, but it made more sense...much more logical...to just keep it and eat it.

yoghurt was probably the healthiest thing you ate that day... it's a sign... eat more [unsweetened].

Good job on losing 8 lbs -- not an easy thing to do. I agree cutting back (or out completely) sweets is the way to go.
When I go to a store and find an item I didn't pay for I usually return it but there was one time I found a $1.75 Avacado in my bag and kept it. I still feel a bit guilty about keeping it but it was fruit and would have spoiled anyway in another day. So...I wouldn't beat yourself up over the yogurt. It happens.
