Expect even hotter weather by next week

Your dad wants a steam bath for Father's Day? Just let him walk outside.
The muggy heat of the past few days should continue into next week,
when it likely will be hotter yet, the National Weather Service said on
Friday.
Saturday's forecast calls for highs in the low 90s and lows in the mid
to upper 70s. There also is a 20 percent chance of showers and
thunderstorms. The weekend also should be sweltering.
By Monday, afternoon highs could reach the mid 90s with heat index
readings as hot as 104 degrees, particularly in the western suburbs.
Southwest winds are expected to deliver hot muggy air from the
Everglades on that day, forecasters said
