From good to bad or in this a misstep by Quarterdeck making it going from bad to bad. (When was the last time you were to or had KFC? DON'T!)
We went to The Quarterdeck, which I really like for its Jambalaya, on St. Patrick's Day and I had the corned beef sandwich which was a mistake as they fried it--sorry but that is ruining corned beef!
Also when I went to IHOP I had the Fajita omelet instead of my usual cheese omelet--Fajitas belong in Mexican restaurants and I should just stick to a cheddar cheese omelet with a side of pancakes at IHOP!
I have been working my way through the Jalisco menu and I had the El Juan Burron which was a flour tortilla filled with beef, cheese, tomatoes and was as good as the rest of their menu items have been--another winner.
Down a couple of storefronts from Big Louie's is the Hot Rock Sushi restaurant--and soon to have a Greek restaurant in-between the two! I don't know why we don't go there more often as it is good even if I am not a sushi eater! I had a small bowl of soup and a garlic stir fry mixed seafood with brown rice dish which was good but at $34 a bit high priced for lunch.
Never thought you could go wrong at Baskin-Robins but as good as the ice cream is don't have it in a chocolate-covered waffle cone as there is no way of eating it without getting the chocolate all over--even if it good 'lickin'!
Last, but not least, and I don't know why but while I was under sedation during the procedure the vascular surgeon was performing all I could think of was Southern Fried Chicken--hey valium affects different people in different ways--so when it was all over I suggested KFC--no more valium for this kid!!!
Must admit I have varied types of food which is healthy--welllllllllllll.
