I had a really rough night and morning due to extremely dry throat and mouth
which could be due to the medicines I am taking and/or the foods I ate last
night. Was up every 1/2 hour and/or hour to quench my thirst. I am going to try
two things tonight--get all my medicine in by 8 PM and not eating after 9 PM--if
things are better tonight I might just do one of the changes tomorrow. I will
also be going to my new heart doctor tomorrow and will tell him what happened
and see what he says, if anything.
After taking all my medicine before 9 and not eating after 9 plus only
drinking water the rest of the evening hopefully I will get a good night's sleep
tonight!
                                      
    
Gino came over today to go a few places with me. The first stop was Chirpy
the Pirate bird store where I got some seed, pellets, millet spray and stick
treats for the birds. I always fall in love with the birds in the store. Here
are just a few of them:



An aside: I just watched and heard Jennifer Hudson sing The Star Spangled
Banner--she knocked it out of the ball park!
After the bird shop we went to Sweet Tomatoes for lunch--I love their
soups--will have to take Fredo and Mike there--I don't think they have any in
NH.
After that we stopped at John's new townhouse but he was just getting ready
to leave so we went on to Target's to get a VHS-TV cable connector and then to
Best Buy to get another kind of doodad.
A few weeks ago Cookie gave me a VHS tape recorder and Gino was going to hook
it up for me but it was broke--tapes wouldn't go into the slot all the way and
he didn't want to force them. I. also, didn't see a clock which a recorder would
need to time record so I may just have to either forget recording shows and but
a separate DVD player. There are DVD/VHS player recorder units but I can't
afford the $200-400 they cost. I do  appreciate that Cookie tried to help me
out. Now we have to say a prayer that her car can get fixed and not cost a lot
of money as she has been kind enough to let me use it.
After that we took down the Dreamgirls billboard that I had hanging on my
wall, and that the birds were devouring, and Gino hung up my new clock.
      

Now Alfredo and Mike will know what time it is!!!
Plan to spend the rest of the evening relaxing, watching some TV (no, not the
game!) and reading the Sunday paper.
Only 16 days to "A Chorus Line"!!!
