For
whatever reason, don't ask me why, I decided no sweets and/or
cheeseburgers for the month of August so instead I usually order turkey,
lettuce, tomato, onion and mustard on rye bread with a side of fruit or
a vegetable--so far I have had one at Subways, Jimmy John's Gourmet 
Sandwiches, Denny's and IHOP.

while Allen had a cheeseburger!!!

Friday,
after the movie, we went to Cheddar's and both had the salmon with
carrots, broccoli and rice--see the halo over my head? That's because I
had mine dry broiled!

I
mentioned the geckos we have all over our property. There are so many
different kinds that they are fun to come across and, trust me, they are
more afraid of you than you are of them!

The
Home Depot had Mandevilla alice du pont vines on sales for $2.98 each
and I got 1 red, 1 yellow and 1 white. They are blooming beautiful and I
am curious to see how they continue to fare indoors.

And, of course, what is summer without a few pigeons around begging for food and pooping all over--but I love the birds!
