Summer in Fort Lauderdale Part 8

Among
the many things I love in my life, and that makes my life better, two
are sunsets and The Point here at Gateway where not only I can see
spectacular sunsets but even during the day see great sights. I was down
there this afternoon around 2 PM and saw these folks enjoying
themselves.

Around
8 PM this evening I took a walk down to The Point and around the
property. There was a fantastic sunset and these are just some of the
pictures I took in an half hour. Hope you enjoy looking at them as much
as I did taking them.

never losing your enthusiasm."

Aldous Huxley

“Sunsets, like childhood, are viewed with wonder not just because they are beautiful but because they are fleeting.”
― Richard Paul Evans , The Gift

“If I could lick the sunset, I’ll bet it would taste like Neapolitan ice cream.
”
― Jarod Kintz ,

“A miracle every day would cease to be miraculous—it would be mundane. Though even a boring sunset is still glorious.
”
― Jarod Kintz

“I'm
enjoying two beautiful visions tonight. Watching you stand there
against a marvelous background has to be the most intriguing sunset I
have ever experienced.”
― K.S. Collier

“Raw
Living: Picking blackberries, beneath late afternoon sun; a sunset
reminiscent of watermelon sangria, as the scent of honeysuckle accosts
me and the ducks waddle into the lake. Thanking Mama Nature for her
abundance. Loving this candied-sweet southern life.”
