1) "Moxie"--Netflix--Movie--1 hour and 51 minutes--this one really surprised me--tuned in for a couple of minutes of nonsense about teens in high school and before I knew it I was watching the final credits! REALLY ENJOYED IT!
2) "Tina Turner: One Last Time"--PBS Passport--concert--2 performers have left me completely exhausted after each time I have seen them and I always wanted more--one is Better Midler and the other is Tina Turner--the energy this woman expands on stage, never stopping, never standing still, even when singing ballads is astounding--this was/is her final concert and though very loud IS AN EXPERIENCE NOT TO BE MISSED!
3) "Crazy About Her"--Netflix--Spanish movie--1 hour & 42 minutes--I'm a sucker for a romantic comedy and this one has a twist--he is crazy for her and she is crazy! A FUN ROMANTIC COMEDY
4) "Buried by the Bernards"--Netflix--Documentary--8 episodes--3 hours and 13 minutes--I watched it because it takes place in Memphis--A WASTE OF TIME
5) "Middle of Nowhere"--Netflix--movie--1 hour & 37 minutes--one of Ava DuVernay was the first African American to win the U.S. Dramatic Directing Award at Sundance in 2012 for this movie--the direction, and acting, is excellent and shows why DuVernay is a much admired figure today but "MIDDLE OF NOWHERE" GOES NOWHERE!
