1) "The Yellow Birds"--Netflix--movie--1 hour & 30 minutes--Synopsis: 2 young soldiers develop a deep friendship during the war before tragedy strikes--the survivor of the 2 suffers from PTSD and the last half of the film deals with the why and the results in not an easy picture to watch--Jason Patrick and Ty Sheridan as the 2 guys are excellent while Toni Collette and Jennifer Aniston, almost unrecognizable bring a 'little extra' to the film.

2) "On A Wing & A Prayer"--Amazon Prime--movie based on a true story--1 hour & 42 minutes-- Synopsis: after the pilot has a heart attack, Doug White has to land the plane to save him and his family--even though you know how it will end you'll still get caught up in the landing--Stay for ALL the ending credits.

3) "Somebody I Used To Know"--Amazon Prime--movie--1 hour & 46 minutes--Synopsis: on a hometown trip work alcoholic Ally reminisces with her first love and questions everything about the person she has become--A not too interesting love story for a not too interesting Allison Brie.

4) "Bonfire Of Destiny"--Netflix--limited series based on true events--8 episodes--6 hours & 45 minutes--Synopsis: after a fire in 1897 Paris 3 women find their lives opened up by betrayals, deception & romantic turmoil--The spectacular fire scenes in the first episode are fantastic making the rest of the movie hard to live up to them but it does as the 3 actresses playing the leads.

5) "The Mother"--Netflix--movie--1 hour & 57 minutes--Synopsis: a female military-trained assassin comes out of hiding to protect the daughter she left very early in life--I am not too often usually involved with action movies but Jennifer Lopez can put 007, Tom Cruise, Sly Stallone, etc. to shame--whether it is with a gun, knives, fists, arms and/or legs you don't win against her--I don't remember, if ever, jumping out of my seat in a movie but I did in this one--thanks JLO!

6) "Swarm"--Amazon Prime--season 1--series--7 episodes--4 hours-- Synopsis: Dru is a young woman obsessed with a pop star--at the beginning of each episode it says this is based on a true story--I didn't believe it until the 6th episode and I started to question if it might be OR WAS I CRAZY?!?
