close with a little celebration. When he came over I had a piece of
cake waiting--this way there wouldn't be any servers singing, "Happy
Birthday," and then went for lunch after.
We went to Humpy's--yes, that's the name--for their Wednesday special of a 19" pizza for $7.
As I like a thick pizza, and this was thin, I wasn't exactly thrilled with it and it wasn't that good!
After, since it is right down the street, (like we need an excuse!!!), we went to Dairy Queen---hey, you need ice cream, especially soft vanilla ice cream with a chocolate covering, after pizza!
Tomorrow is the BIG day--we will be going to La Chima (see previouis blog)--and I plan to do a lot of eating in Allen's honor, celebrating his birthday--see how good a friend I am?!?!? LOL
